Porto-Vecchio

Porto-Vecchio, very touristic seaside resort in summer.  The city is divided into two parts: on one side, the marina and commercial port and, on the other, the old town, located at an altitude of 70 m.

Check out:
– Its historic centre,
– salt marshes whose salt is harvested in early August,
– its film library and film festival in July,
– and its beaches, including the famous Palombaggia.

Boat excursions are offered at the port. They last a whole day and take you to Bonifacio, the Lavezzi islands and the island of Cavallo while skirting the Corsican coast. Lunch on board is included in the price and you will have many opportunities to swim.
